This last weekend we had our first Serve the City day. Pastor Miranda Musick lead a team of over 30 people from our church to Tweed Woods Park. God miraculously split the storm around us as we grilled hot dogs, painted faces, played with puppies from 4 Paws for Ability, popped popcorn, and most importantly, had intentional conversations with around 30 families from that community.
Serving Others is not just a part of our mission here at TC Naz, but it is a key element in our DNA. We are who we are because we serve.
Over the next several weeks join us as we pray for those living in that community and for our church as we seek to find new ways to build relationships with the people living there. Also, ask God how He would have you to serve. Remember that often service means sacrifice. It won’t always be easy, but I can guarantee that it will be worth it.
