Pastor Miranda Musick

Today, I would love for you to get to know Pastor Miranda Musick a little better. She is an amazing woman of God and we are so blessed to have her here serving on staff at TC Naz! -Pastor Rachel
I am very excited to be serving here at TC Naz! I grew up in Massillon, OH and later lived in Canton. I was always cared for and loved by my home church of 21 years, who became family to me. Both they and my family supported me as I grew up with my sister and brother in a beautiful yet broken home. God always flooded my life with grace and Spirit-led people to show me His love.
I was always involved in various activities in high school (band, choir, NHS, youth group) that kept me busy and working hard. I left for college in 2014 and lacked direction for what to study until I felt called to ministry the summer after my freshman year. My time in college was filled with amazing friends (both peers and staff/faculty), exciting adventures, making and listening to lots of music, paper writing until 2:00am, and meeting and getting to know my incredible husband.
Matt took this job during my Junior year. As we began talking about marriage, I knew I would be joining him here. I was excited about the possibilities and potential ways to serve in the church. God led Matt to TC Naz, and me through him. As we serve together in the areas of youth and worship, we pray to see this community transformed through the love of Christ.
As I step into this position, I am blessed to be able to help lead the congregation as we lift praises to our God through song. Also, we have incredible teenagers in this church! As I continue to get to know both our students and their families, I feel so blessed to be serving them. I very much look forward to growing with them in our knowledge and love of Christ. As we serve together in our community, my prayer is that we would grow because we are making disciples. I pray that when my mouth opens to teach and preach the word during our gatherings that all of my words would be God’s. I pray that our teens’ parents will continue to be empowered to grow with their children and to lead them spiritually – we are all continuously growing!
Thank you for welcoming me so graciously into your church family. May we continue to grow to be more like God as we gather and support both one another and those who are hurting in our community. I praise God that I can join you on this beautiful journey filled with good news!
