Sanctity of Human Life

If you missed this last Sunday with Mandy Litzke, it isn’t too late to hear her amazing testimony.

This past Sunday we celebrated the sacredness of all human life. “On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. (January 22, 1973, was the day the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states.) Churches around the United States use the day to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage.” (Life Matters Worldwide)

As Nazarenes we believe that all life is sacred and that God has called us to protect human life at all stages. This is especially true of those who can not fight for their own lives. Take time today to pray, to give, to serve, in support of human life. How might God be asking you to do that? Let us rally together to love like Jesus loved and to live like Jesus lived.
