Giant Proportions

Several years ago I visited Sequoia National Park in California. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. The trees were massive and beautiful, overwhelming and aweinspiting. The General Sherman tree can be found there. It is the largest tree in the world, with a base measuring 36 ft. in diameter and 275 feet tall. 

That tiny blue dot in the picture is me. Right now that is about how big I feel in comparison to all that is happening in our world. In reality we may feel tiny, even insignificant, but God sees us. He knows you by name. You are not small and invisible to Him. So lean in today. Though we may feel lost in a forest of giant proportions, God is with us. He is near.
