Out of Darkness and TCNaz

“The Out of Darkness initiative is a proven prototype for outreach, rescue, and emergency safe housing in the fight against sex trafficking, and, at a national level, has rescued over 1,500 individuals over the past eight years. While we are making an incredible impact, countless individuals are still left without adequate options.” (The Dream Center, 2021)

89% of women want to escape prostitution but don’t have other options for survival. Only 1 in 100 victims of commercial sexual exploitation that do attempt to access services are able to do so. (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 2012).

This is why TCNaz joins efforts to help OOD end human trafficking! Over the last month, we have collected over 100 clothing items, toiletries, and more to help support the women who walk through the doors of Out of Darkness Columbus. This is not the end of your ability to support their efforts. During our upcoming Saturday Serve, you can join a group to go to Columbus and help with their Donation Organization Day! There are limited spots available, so please contact Pastor Rachel asap if you would like to take part!

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.”
