Celebrating Baptism

Ceremonies have the wonderful potential of reminding us of our past and pressing us towards the future. We celebrate better, we connect more holistically, because we have been there, done that, and got the T-shirt. This Sunday we celebrated the beauty of Addie’s baptism. As she popped up out of the water she whispered, “this is the best day of my life.” Do you remember that day? Take a moment and remember your baptism today. Ask yourself if you are living in the fullness of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, holding on to the promise that you too have risen from death to life!
