From Pig Slop to Big Party

Pig slop. He lived in it. He ate it. His options were limited and it was his own dang fault. He knew it. His father knew it. His family knew it. His brother definitely knew it. And yet, when he gave up his selfish ways, humbled himself, and turned back to home, his father welcomed him with open arms and a big ole party! Not everyone embraced him with such joy and gladness, but his father saw to his very heart. The son knew at that moment that whatever he did, his father’s love will always be waiting for him. (Luke 15:11-32)

The balloons are filled, the cake is made, the fatted calf is being done up right, and forgiveness is flowing out like a fountain. You are much loved. It is time to head home.
