Epiphany

Epiphany has been celebrated since the 3rd century. The day falls on the 12th day of Christmas, which happens to be today. Epiphany means revelation or manifestation. The light of God came down, not only for the Israelites/Jewish people but also for the Gentiles. The first day of Epiphany is also called Three Kings Day. It s a time of celebration, that Jesus has been revealed to all of us, and we are forever blessed because He came.
Not all churches or Christians celebrate this holiday. If you do not follow the church calendar, this may be your first time hearing of it! That is perfectly fine. Honestly, it just gives us, as Gentile Christians another meaningful opportunity to glory in His birth. Jesus came for us, we revealed to us, and is the light of the world through us!
Thanks be to God!
